Every Shizuku version covered on shizukumobile.com is tested on real Android phones before any download button goes up. Priya Nair installs the build herself, sets it up the way a user would, and only then is the version listed with its download information.
Each review works through the same checks in the same order, so versions can be compared fairly. The app is installed cleanly from its APK file, the permissions it requests are reviewed, performance is checked during normal use, and the file goes through a safety scan. When a new version lands, the checks are run again before the listing is updated.

Test Phones
- Galaxy A55 (Android 15)
- Pixel 8 (Android 16)
- Redmi Note 13 Pro (Android 14)

What We Check
- Clean install from the APK file
- Permissions review before the app is used
- Performance checks during normal use
- Safety scan of every file
- Re-checks when new versions land
For Shizuku, testing also covers the full setup journey: pairing over Wireless Debugging, connecting through ADB from a computer, and confirming that supported apps can still reach the system services they need after a reboot.
